Privacy Policy

EasyVids (easyvids.io) is a platform for creating videos with artificial intelligence. This policy describes what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are. The data controller is the site publisher named in the legal notice.

• Account data: full name, email address, password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form).
• Usage data: projects, scripts, prompts, generated content (images, videos, audio), credit balance and credit transactions, subscription plan.
• Content you upload: images, videos, audio files, including the voice samples used for voice cloning.
• Messages sent through the contact form.
• Minimal technical data: server logs needed for security and proper operation.

• provide the service: generate your content, save your projects, manage your credits and your subscription (performance of the contract);
• keep the platform secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interest);
• answer your support requests (performance of the contract);
• tell you about important changes to the service (legitimate interest, we never sell your data).

To generate your content, your prompts, texts and reference files are sent to the AI model providers we use (video/image generation, voice synthesis and cloning, music). These providers process this data on behalf of EasyVids and may be located outside the European Union; we select providers offering appropriate safeguards. Your account credentials are never sent to them.

Voice cloning calls for particular care: by uploading a voice sample, you certify that it is your own voice or that the person concerned has given their explicit consent. A cloned voice is visible and usable only by the account that created it. You may request its deletion at any time.

• Account data and projects: for as long as the account is active, then deleted within 30 days of the account being deleted.
• Contact messages: 24 months maximum.
• Technical logs: 12 months maximum.

Hashed passwords (bcrypt), access authenticated by token, AI provider keys stored exclusively on the server and never exposed to browsers, restricted administrator access. As no system is infallible, we will notify you of any data breach likely to concern you, in accordance with the regulations.

EasyVids does not use advertising cookies. Your browser's local storage only keeps your session (login token), your interface preferences (theme, studio settings), items strictly necessary for the service to work.

Under the applicable regulations (including the GDPR), you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection regarding your data. You can change your name and your password from "My account", and exercise the other rights by writing to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL).

This policy may change along with the service; any substantial change will be flagged on this page and, if necessary, by email.
